Being married to a Filipina is a paradigm changing circumstance. No?
i imagine it could be--if i had the faintest idea what a paradigm is.
i apologize if this post ends up in the wrong place.
i have been a lurker here for several years.
i thoroughly enjoy this site, have for years, and read something or another on this site many times a week.

hello all.. i could use some help identifying the title of a wt book that i read back in the early 90's.
it was an older book when i read it.
i wish that i could recall more than i do.
i'm positive about down votes: at least it shows someone has bothered to read the crap i write.

Hello SLCF
i too have a pinay wife..22years younger than I am . Married 8 years now .
I’m English, aged 76.
how many of you bought a nice sedan, suv, or even a minivan back in the days that you described as your "armageddon car" that you would care for and it would last until the end arrived?.
i was driving a 1974 plymouth volare wagon in 1992 when i managed to get an 8-year old buick century.
it was low mileage and had a very luxurious interior.
in 1974, an effort was made to get me interested in the cult again: an elder offered to come and discuss it with me one night a week. This was because 1975 was getting very close.
One evening he mentioned he had bought a newer car on credit instalments--because he wouldnt have to make the repayments.
i wonder how he managed ?
Years later i heard he became a circuit servant.
jehovah's witnesses are a cult .
pure & simple!.
the wickedness we see prevalent today among the jehovah’s witnesses can no doubt be largely attributed to the leadership of the organization, the watchtower society and it's governing body.
from the earliest of times of the catholic church's ecumenical councils were used to make major changes to its doctrinal direction.
decisions were made by bishops, they were ratified by the pope ... and it was done.
and the laity had to accepted them or not.. and while splinter catholic religions accepted most of these councils, non-trinitarian faiths which developed latter (of which jehovah's witnesses are apart) did not.
might just get new light that 144,000 is a symbolic number--comprising virgin men from the tribes of israel.
does anyone know how many hours were required to be a pioneer back in or around 1970?.
etude..
if someone invited her along to a BS with them.
BS meaning Bull Shit i guess ?

Special Pioneer 140 hours IIRC. And in those days most Reg. and Sp. Pio's did GENUINE hours, no counting of Coffee breaks etc, or travelling time in most cases, it was HARD !
haha--MOST pios may have--but not me.
Start of day--knock a door--drive to group meeting. Time is now started. During day--coffee breaks--lunch provided by a congregation member " on a rota"--- visit sick members of cong--go collect mags from bethel delivery truck--light up old boiler for kingdom hall heating---more coffee --go shopping.
clock stops when i got home. 8 hours counted.
